Erasmus+ meeting in Athens on the topic of innovation in the migrants' inclusion through the Blue card

Important ideas emerge from the second meeting of the Erasmus+ project ‘Interc.lab’ held in Athens on 3 and 4 November, at the institutional headquarters of Ison.
The project sees the European consortium composed of the project coordinator Studio Risorse, the PMI Innovativa from Basilicata iInformatica, Ison Psychometrica, Innetica, Academia Formação do Norte and the German partner VHS.
From the presentation of the results of a survey, that involved 220 respondents, it emerged the importance of addressing and strengthening the following socio-emotional and intercultural skills at a training level for workers in European companies: comparison management, emotional control, diversity management, tolerance, collaboration, empathy, active listening and self-evaluation.

In particular, various training methods were addressed in order to be adapted according to the type of target nation (one for each partner country of the project): Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal.
‘It is a real pleasure to coordinate this prestigious and ambitious project that deals with such a complex issue as that of the migrants’ inclusion, through appropriate cross-training to be provided to the workers of European companies in order to be able to carry out a constructive and effective inclusion of migrants in workplaces, overcoming unnecessary hypocrisy and putting to value methods that take into account the enhancement of socio-emotional skills’ says Maria Santarcangelo, project manager of Studio Risorse, present in the city of Athens these days.
The project will also see the digital development by the innovative SME iInformatica, also responsible for the communication and dissemination of the project results, of an application that will allow, by exploiting the expert systems, to guide the migrant in the process of obtaining the Blue Card.
